Extension Not Working? Fix the Household Error

Installed the extension but still seeing “Your device isn’t part of the Netflix Household”? These are the usual causes.

1. The extension is toggled off

Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome, open the extension popup and make sure it says ON. Try the demo to see what the popup looks like.

2. Hard refresh the page

Press Ctrl + F5 (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac) so Netflix reloads with the extension active.

3. Conflicting extensions

Other ad-blockers or privacy shields can interfere. Disable them temporarily and test.
