Household Verification on TV and Mobile
On a Smart TV, Roku, Fire Stick, iPhone or Android, a browser extension won’t work. You need different methods.
Smart TVs and streaming sticks
- The HDMI method: connect a laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable and watch from the laptop with the extension installed.
- Casting: cast a Chrome tab to a Chromecast-enabled TV.
- Official extra member: skip the cable and pay for a slot.
Warning: beware of apps claiming to “bypass household checks” on app stores. Many are scams that steal logins. Stick to official apps.
iPhone and Android
- Make sure your phone is on Wi-Fi.
- At home, sign in on your home Wi-Fi and watch about 15 minutes. This can re-verify the device.
- Away from home, use a temporary code.
